Helpful Tips for Planning
Plan your topic flow. Group documentaries by theme or narrative type. Nature docs together, true crime in blocks, historical series consecutively.
Respect the break. A 10-minute break every 90 minutes keeps you sharp. Use it to stretch, hydrate, or jot down thoughts.
Keep it realistic. If a documentary is 2 hours long, don't schedule it back-to-back with another 2-hour film unless you have a solid break planned.
Share the load. Send your schedule to a friend. Take turns choosing documentaries for shared viewing.
Check runtime. Streaming services sometimes show different lengths. Double-check before finalizing a tight schedule.
Common Questions
Can I change the break length?
Currently breaks are fixed at 10 minutes. This is based on common recommendations for eye health during long screen time. We may add customization in a future update.
